The Singapore Night Festival (SNF) 2025 is lighting up the city once again—from August 22 to September 6—transforming the Bras Basah • Bugis (BBB) precinct into a dazzling nocturnal playground. Organized for the first time by HeritageSG and themed “Island Nights”, the festival celebrates Singapore’s 60th foundation year, inviting audiences to explore the island's past, present, and cultural identity through immersive light and art.

"Expect over 80 experiences including light shows, interactive installations, projection mapping, and festival villages offering food, retail, and live performances".

Highlights to See >

  • Sky Castle (Cathay Green): A vibrant, rainbow-like inflatable arch experience by ENESS—movement triggers shifting colors and xylophone-like sounds. Entrance is S$5 per person, redeemable via Klook, and children six or younger are free.

  • Kampong Chill (Capitol Singapore): A peaceful pavilion by Yok & Sheryo built from bamboo, encouraging visitors to “chill” in an environment that reimagines kampung (village) tranquility—free admission.

  • Cyberswordfish V2.0 (Plaza Singapura): A cyberpunk-inspired swordfish sculpture made from electronic waste, reflecting on AI and overconsumption.

  • Projection Mapping (National Museum & CHIJMES): Large-scale, immersive light shows that bring heritage buildings to life with narratives of stars, batik, family, and healing.

  • Festival Villages: Three lively hubs—Paradise Island (Armenian Street), Retro District (Bugis Street), and SMU Arts Fest—boast interactive art, vintage theme markets, and local performances. All offer free access.
