Tomorrowland 2025, held over two magical weekends in July at De Schorre in Boom, Belgium, captivated more than 400,000 attendees with its bold new theme, "Orbyz"—a mythical, icy realm revealing a hidden civilization of red crystals as glaciers melt.
Only days before the festival’s grand opening, disaster struck as the iconic mainstage was engulfed in flames during pyrotechnic tests. What could have been a crushing blow transformed into a testament of resilience: a makeshift stage was built in under 36 hours, largely with support from Metallica’s touring rig. The show went on, with performances launching as scheduled.
The lineup—spanning over 600 artists across 16 themed stages—featured electronic music megastars like Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki, Charlotte de Witte, and Swedish House Mafia. Festivalgoers were treated to a unique blend of immersive visuals, genre diversity, and storytelling through stages like Freedom, CORE, and Planaxis.
Tomorrowland’s Magic also extended to DreamVille, a festival city offering campers experiences ranging from cozy tents to manicure-worthy mansions, launching with the “The Gathering” pre-party.
By turning crisis into creative momentum, Tomorrowland 2025 reaffirmed itself not just as a premier festival, but as a symbol of community, artistry, and unbreakable spirit.
