IAAPA Expo Asia 2025 Wraps Up in Shanghai with Record Attendance

SHANGHAI – July 3, 2025The premier gathering for Asia's attractions industry, IAAPA Expo Asia 2025, concluded at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) with 7,093 verified attendees out of 8,016 registrants—marking a significant 40% increase compared to the previous year.


The four-day event (June 30 – July 3) featured over 350 exhibitors from around the world across an 8,600 m² show floor. Themed “Find Possible,” the Expo offered a rich mix of 20+ educational sessions, EDUTours to Shanghai Disneyland and LEGOLAND Shanghai, and high-profile networking events. Attendees included influential industry leaders such as Jill Estorino (Disney Parks International) and Cecilia Qin (Trip.com Group).

  • Strong Buyer Presence: 5,651 qualified buyers from 85 countries attended, reflecting Asia’s critical role in the global attractions market (iaapa.org).

IAAPA President Jakob Wahl noted, “The connections made here are the foundation of lasting partnerships,” while Jack Chan, IAAPA Asia Pacific head, praised Shanghai’s blend of innovation and culture in shaping the region’s attractions landscape.

The success paves the way for IAAPA Expo Asia 2026, scheduled for June 9–12 in Hong Kong, with 206 companies already reserving over 5,300 m² of exhibit space.
