Applicants are expressly prohibited from taking up local employment, ensuring this visa caters solely to foreign remote workers. How Long and What It Costs: "The visa allows a 12-month stay , renewable for another year—bringing the maximum duration to two years in total". Costs for the Digital Nomad Visa have not yet been officially announced. However, analysts estimate that the fee will align with student visa rates in the Philippines (around US$250 ) or range between US$200 to US$2,000 , based on similar visa types. Why It Matters?
